Before You Book

What’s Included In Every Job?

Your final price includes all taxes, cost of labor, paint, tax where applicable and any tip you wanted to pass on to your crew.

How Does Pricing Work?

Paintmates use industry standards to determine the average length of time it takes to paint a standard room. We’ve applied a dollar amount per hour. No overcharging, just convenient, transparent quoting.

 

 

Do I need to be home for my paint job?

No, feel free to let our crew in and take a break or leave a key and we’ll get to work.

What happens if I need to cancel my paint job?

You’re free to cancel your job before 5pm the day before the work is scheduled to start. If you cancel after 5pm, you’ll lose your 10% deposit.

How far in advance do I need to book?

Preferably if you can make your booking 48 hours prior to the job start. That will allow us to ready all relevant insurance documentation.

What happens if something goes wrong during my appointment?

You can apply a coupon to a future appointment by logging into your account and clicking your name in the top right hand corner. You can then select “redeem voucher” and enter your code. The system will automatically apply the code to your next appointment. You can not apply your coupon to past appointment that are already completed.

Can I trust my service professional?

Yes! We know letting someone into your home is a big deal, so we take a lot of care vetting our painting professionals for safety and quality. They have all undergone extensive background and reference checks, as well as a strict interview process. All our service professionals are experienced painters – the best in the Sydney metro area!

What is your 100% satisfaction guarantee policy?

If you’re not happy for any reasonable reason we will happily return until you’re completely satisfied with the work.

What is your refund policy?

Where Do You Find Your Painting Crews?

Paintmates have a general manager based in the Sydney Metro Area whose sole responsibility lies with adding teams to our platform. Each crew is rigorously background checked before being onboarded.

How do I change my address?

You can call our contact center and one of our service representative will update the address on your work order.

Billing & Payment

How do I pay for my paint job?

Pay securely online using our encrypted booking form. 10% of the price is due upon booking and 90% will be charged after the work is completed.

How do I choose my colour?

Use our colour gallery on our website, visit your local dulux store or give us a call for a free colour consultation.

How many coats of paint will I receive?

Paintmates will paint until your walls and fixtures (if applicable) are covered, whether it takes one, two or three coats.

Do you do wall repairs or after painting cleaning?

We can provide small scale wall repairs (dry walls), if anything bigger is necessary we may need to contract a professional wall repairer. Dependent on the size of your work, we may provide complimentary room cleaning after the work is completed.
